NVH (Noise Vibration Harshness) & SOUND QUALITY
Since 1999 I have been involved with NVH issues (Noise Vibration Harshness). I have applied my knowledge and experience in Automotive, either analyzing free mode vibration, forced vibration analysis and correlation between analysis and testing measurements.



Using several software as ADAMS or NASTRAN, I can model any situation and simulate the best solution before being implemented into physical components. My knowledge allow to analyze dynamic vibration, free mode condition, and dynamic forced problems.
For example, in the picture on the right, an high frequency vibration problem has been solved modeling a full flexible engine excited by cylinder combustion. The results confirmed a 400Hz vibration problem due to the coupling between forcing and a mode frequency also confirmed by experimental data. Using the model has been possible propose different layout solutions to optimize the results. Moreover with Nastran and Adams software I can combine acoustic-structural analysis.
SOUND QUALITY
I started Sound Quality in 2004 and applied for major automotive sports car. The experience earned allow me to design a full vehicle exhaust line and optimize sound coming from muffler or global layout.


STRUCTURAL AND FLUIDODYNAMICS ANALYSIS
I
realize FEM analysis by means of Ansys-Design Space or Nastran
software.
Using
Fluent Software I can manage fluxes and pressures around a body. The example
below show the velocity profile around a motorsport

DESIGN IN STEEL, ALUMINUM or CARBON FIBRE
Designing in motorsport I learnt about lightweight material such as aluminum or carbon fibre. About carbon fibre I designed chassis, crash box and, finally, I designed a torque tube to connect engine and gearbox.

CONCEPT DESIGN
During
these years I often analyze different and complex problems starting from a white
paper. I offer to develop a whole projects starting from scratch to prototyping.
For example the new project for Aeronautic Industry, a platform for Simulating
Acceleration, has been patented by myself and now is going to be prototyped
